\"\"<\/a>Jamie King is an Emmy-nominated writer and producer of film and television.<\/p>\n

His feature credits include the horror comedy BUDDY<\/a>, co-written with director Casper Kelly, a 2026 Sundance selection that was picked up for a 8\/28\/26 theatrical release. He co-wrote the original hip-hop musical WORLD’S BEST <\/a><\/span>with Utkarsh Ambudkar, now available on Disney+ and nominated for Best Fiction Special at the 2024 Children\u2019s and Family Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n

For TV, Jamie wrote for all three seasons of MARVEL’S JESSICA JONES<\/a>, including the season one finale \u201cSmile,\u201d which won a Peabody and a Hugo Award. He wrote for the sci-fi drama IMPULSE<\/a> on YouTube Premium. His coming-of-age horror pilot CASTLE ROCK won Best Teleplay at the 2015 Slamdance Film Festival<\/a>. He contribute to the MARVEL\u2019S AVENGERS<\/a> video game by Square Enix. He studied theater at NYU, and got his MFA in Writing and Producing for TV from Loyola Marymount University, where his thesis short was THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SHAKESPEARE<\/a>.<\/p>\n
